Claim your service
Every regulated home care service in England and Scotland already has a page here, whether anyone has claimed it or not. Claiming one lets you correct it, answer the questions families actually ask, and reply to reviews. It costs nothing.
How we check you are who you say you are
The CQC register carries a website for 44% of services and a phone number for most of the rest. It carries no email addresses at all. So the one thing we can check on the spot is whether your email sits on the same domain as the website your company gave the regulator.
When it matches, you are in immediately, and every branch your company runs on that domain comes with it. When it does not, or there is no website on your record, a person reads the claim instead. That is most of the register, and it is deliberate: approving the wrong person hands a stranger control of your business listing, so we would rather be slow than wrong.
Nothing you claim changes what the CQC says about you. Registration details, inspection dates and specialisms come straight from the public register and are not editable here.
